Happy Monday Y'all! A new week means a new Elizabeth Mae's challenge. This week we are challenging you to get HAPPY. 

I decided to work with the Polka Dot dress form. I think this is my favorite Elizabeth Mae's digi! I paired it with this retired SU! set for my sentiment and the flower swirl. I kept the card really simple because, I thought that it just worked! :) I colored the Dress Form with Copics (C2,C5, E53, R81, R85). I used the gorgeous My Minds Eye DP and paired it with silver package ribbon. I wish I knew where this fabulous ribbon came from but, alas I do not. I have been hoarding saving the cream of the crop of package toppers and ribbon for far too long. It's only recently that I have been cracking into that stash collection and using them on cards. Anywho, I drew a box around my digi and sentiment with a black Copic Multi liner for added flair. A touch of Going Grey sponging around my images finishes the job. Thanks so much for stopping by. Totally Paper Craft~ #84 Clean & Simple

No Patterned Paper~

Is it really Monday again? This weekend seemed to fly by. No worries kids! Monday means a new Elizabeth Mae's Challenge! This week the challenge is to create a card without using Patterned Paper. WHAT??? I know, I was a little nervous at first myself. Never fear, I challenged myself and you can too. It's fun and not as hard as I thought!

True Crafting Confession time. Creating a card without DP was stepping way out of my comfort zone. I started with a SU! Pumpkin Pie CS Base and added a layer of Apricot Appeal (which I had ran through the Big Shot on a texture plate). Then I colored the lovely Pixie Dust Fairy in with Copics and added some BLING. I sponged the edges for added depth. That's where things started to get a little pear shared. I kept switching different cardstock pieces back and forth. At one point I thought the card was done. After a few hours I realized that It just wasn't right so I took it apart down to the textured layer. It was then that things started to fall into place. The subtle blue & green layers and the sponged die cut butterfly wrapped in Divine Twine. And there you have it, No Patterned paper. I do hope you will play along this week at Elizabeth Mae's. Bling It Up~

Hey all. It's Monday again which can only mean a brand new Elizabeth Mae's challenge! This week we are Blinging It Up! Add your glitter, your pearls, your rhinestones. Anything that gives your project that added BLING! I went with a super simple mini card. 

I love to have these super sweet 3"x3" cards on hand. They are so perfect to just grab and use for any occasion. This is Princess Myai. I colored her with Copics and added rhinestone to her crown and dazzling diamonds glitter to her dress. I also added three teeny rhinestones to the bottom of the card but, am now realizing they get lost in this not so great pic. Opps! :) The DP is MME Stella Rose and cardstock is SU!. Swirls and Flourishes~

It's Monday and I am so not prepared for a new week. I had a crazy busy weekend and didn't have any time to stamp. Boo! Never fear, I have a brand new card for this weeks Elizabeth Mae's challenge. The challenge this week is to use swirls and flourishes.

This poor little card had so many possibilities and I was loving it. Until my sewing machine tried to eat it... twice! I got so frustrated with it that I almost threw it out the window (the sewing machine). I wish I could say that I was kidding! The adorable digi is Polka Dot Dress Form colored in with Copic Markers. The DP is Basic Grey and 7 Gypsies, once I adhered it to my cardstock base I (tried to) stitch it and then stamped my flourish (SU!) with Versamark and heat embossed it with black embossing powder. I'm not sure who the chipboard flourish is by. It was actually a mirror image of itself and I cut it in half. Next, I inked it with Versamark and heat embossed. Lastly, I added the SU! grey satin ribbon and a gorgeous orange Prima and a black brad. I love this design so much I might have to give it another go. That about does it for today. New Release Day~

Happy Monday morning! It's a new week and that means another fabulous Elizabeth Mae's challenge. So here it is~ Buttons! We all have 'em and now it's time to use them on your fantastic projects! Here's what I created.

It's a place card favor holder featuring the Angel Girl digi. She is super sweet colored with Copic markers. I gave her freckles, just 'cause i could. :) The inside of the holder houses a sweet treat. I think that I am going to make these for my 3 year old's birthday party. They are super easy to throw together!

Corner Bookmark~

Happy Monday everyone. Here we are a the beginning of a brand new week which means a brand new Elizaberth Mae's Challenge. This week's challenge is to create Anything but a Card. I have to tell you I have been in a card making groove lately and to switch gears and make a Non-Card was quite the challenge. Still it was a lot of fun! I chose a Corner Bookmark for my not a card project. 

This adorable little lady is Wink, Wink Emma. I colored her up with Copics and punched her out with my SU! Curly Label punch. She is sitting on top of a bed of mixed Prima's. I layered her with some Colorbok Flea Marker DP and a little Bakers Twine. My SU! eyelet border punch finished the job.

Here you can see the back of the bookmark. A little more DP and a button are a perfect combination. These corner bookmarks are easy and fun to make. 2 Color Challenge~

Hiya! It's Monday again which means a new Elizabeth Mae's challenge. I don't know about you but, I needed a good cup of coffee this morning to recover from my weekend. :) Back to the challenge~ use only TWO colors. This was a super fun challenge to play along with! I must admit it was so hard to limit myself to only two colors. It was fun though. Good to stretch those creative muscles. Since I know you are dying to know what I created with Elizabeth Mae's super cute digi's I won't keep you in suspense any longer. 

This is Butterfly Fairy. I colored her in with Copics (Mostly BG's & E's) and brushed Crystal Effects on her wings. I love the texture that the paint brush gave her wings! The paper, ribbon, Ink, cardstock, scallop punch & clip are all Stampin' Up! The chocolate chip brads are Making Memories (I think. ;)) Thanks for much for stopping by. Have you heard of Elizabeth Mae's? If not them let me introduce you. Elizabeth Mae's is fairly new and offers fabulous digital stamps! They recently had a DT call and I got chosen as one of the lucky few to design for them!!! I can't wait to dive in and play with all of the fun designs. The card I have to share with you today is based on Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #126.

I have been wanting to play along with the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge for 3 weeks now. When I finally did get to play along I completely forgot to post it and now it's not eligible for the challenge. Drat! Oh, well it was still fun to play!

I kept my card pretty simple to help balance the super bright pallet. This is Butterfly Fairy. Isn't she fun!!! She is great for coloring. Well, that about does it for me. I'm hoping to get some craftiness in before my kiddos wake up. Wish me luck!
