Laurel~

I have a challenge trifecta to share with you today. All of these challenges came together to create this card.~

First up is my Wednesday favorite Pixie Dust Studio Challenge. I look forward every week to playing along with the Pixies don't ya know! The challenge this week was to create a project based on a movie or book. I chose Laurel Wings (Pixie) to represent the book Wings. I read it last month along with the Pixie Book Club. It was a pretty good book and well I just love fairies! I hope there will be a sequel! Anyway, back to the card. I used this  Mojo Monday sketch.

I also stuck (sort of) to the SCS CC343 More Soft Tango (More Mustard, Soft Suede, & Tangerine Tango). This was a challenge for me because, I am not much a person for orange. And there you have it. Three challenges and one card. Actually there was a forth challenge Emerald Faeries #10 Punches/Dies. I used 4 dies here, 3 Nesties and one The Cat's Pajamas Cut Above Die Apron Border. That's a lot of challenges and I am tired just thinking about it. I need a nap. See you tomorrow for more crafty adventures. :)

Recycle Bliss~

I love it when Wednesday rolls around and I knock all of my errands out early and have time to sit down and get crafty! I combined two challenges to bring you this little card today. First up Mojo Monday sketch 207.

Isn't she a beauty? I thought so. I just love sketches. This one is definitely going in my sketch book! The second challenge that I gained inspiration from was Pixie Dust Studio. The challenge this week is "recycling is good".

I grabbed a Pixie from my printed Pixie stash (yes, I have a printed Pixie stash). Next I went in search of my something recycled. What I settled on was a postcard advertisement for birth announcements (the green dotted panel). It worked out perfectly and you can't even tell that it was headed to the recycling bin! I tilted the panels just right so that you can't see any of the text! SWEET! I picked out some DP from my scrap basket (might as well continue with the reduce and reuse theme!). I colored sweet Pixie in with Copics. Added a generous amount of sponging with Close to Cocoa ink on EVERY panel and piece. Yes, I am addicted to my INK! :) I ran my ribbon through the sewing machine. Lastly I added three rhinestone flowers. My card was missing something so after much rummaging I stumbled upon this long forgotten sticker sheet from Scenic Route. There shining like a beacon was BLISS! I snatched it up and stuck it on my card and the rest is history.

Before I forget, I jotted down the Copic colors for you. There is just one adjustment. The shoe color is actually the hair color and not the dress color as stated. Thanks so much for stopping by. TTFN~

Dancing in Mojo~

After my no stamping weekend it felt so good to get back in my studio (laundry room) and stamp something! Here is is Monday already and I realized that I have yet to play in this last weeks TCP Tuesday which is a really fabulous color challenge.

I absolutely LOVE this color combo and didn't want to miss out on the chance to play along. I pulled out my Cat's Pajamas stamps and realized that Flutter By was sitting there never before inked (Gasp). It was time to break it in! Since it's Monday that means a brand new Mojo Monday sketch. It is such a fun and fabulous sketch I decided to dive right in and combine these two awesome challenges.

I just LOVE Julee's brilliant sketch. I am going to have to go back for seconds, I am sure!

I took a few liberties with the sketch but, since it is my card I guess it's alright. ;) I stamped the adorable bunny and colored him in with Copics, added some grass and sponged the edges with Soft Sky ink. I rounded all of the upper left hand corners. The DP is a combination of Basic Grey and MME Stella Rose. A little Brown Sheer ribbon (Offray) and Pumpkin Pie Ric Rac (SU!), and three Cornflower blue Making Memories mini brads finish the job.

I threw the inside together super quick using scraps from the card front. I love that it adds a little pizazz and is kinda of like an added surprise when the recipient opens up the card. Ok, I am off. I have tons of things to do today. Thanks for stopping by!

Black and Blue~

I am on a posting roll today! What can I say, I just want to share these lovely little creations. I managed to get a little stamping time in today. Always a plus, I think! I had two challenges in mind when I started this card and then it just kinda took off from there. First, this weeks Mojo Monday #204 sketch challenge. They always have such inspirational challenges over there! Next, I created a boy themed card with a button or brad for the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge #87.

I got to use my new Zeeba the Zebra digi that I won from last weeks Pixie Dust Studio Challenge! How fun is that?

This little guy really is just the sweetest! The best part is my 5 year old has a stuffed zebra. They are like best mates! So this image is pretty much perfect! ;) Now in true Steph style I managed to squeeze a few more challenges out of this card. Yahoo! The PIL (Pile It On) challenge is to use three different shades of BLUE. The Pink Elephant Challenge #112 is to use "Stitching". Which is definitely one of my very favorite techniques. Lastly, we have the lovely challenge from the Ribbon Carousel #15 is "Get Edgy".

Doesn't that sound like fun?!!! So, I distressed the edges of my DP with ink and roughed them up a bit. Don't worry no cardstock was harmed in the making of this card, only enhanced! ;)

The DP for this card is a random mixture of scraps. Yes, it's scraptacular if you will! Anyway, back to the paper which is from SU!, Scenic Route, and American Crafts. Thanks so much for stopping by. I can almost guarantee that this is indeed my final post for the day. LOL.

More Mojo~

Happy Wednesday Stampers~ I hope you are having a delicious week and maybe even making some time for a little craftiness. If you do find yourself with some time you should check out this weeks MOJO MONDAY sketch challenge #201. You have a choice between a lovely square or circle design. To much fun I tell ya!

Since I LOVE square cards so much I went in that design direction for my card.

I knew that Lulu from CS Designs would be perfect for this card. I was itching to color her up and I am so glad that I did. She is adorable! All in all this card went together super quick! I added a touch of faux stitching around my bottom layer of Basic Grey Sweet Threads pattern paper with my Sailor White Writer. I hope you aren't getting sick of seeing this gorgeous paper because, I am loving it! I am hoping to carve out some crafty time today and have something fun and fabulous to share tomorrow. Thank so much for stopping by!

A Perfect Storm of Challenges~

Hiya Stampers. I have so much to share with you today. I had to work this weekend so not much stamping for me. No worries, I am back with a scrumptious little card to share! :) This card is based on four fun little challenges or what I like to think of as THE PERFECT STORM of CHALLENGES. With their inspiration combined I managed to create what I consider to be a pretty sweet card.
Challenge #1 is Mojo Monday. They are celebrating this week with their 200th challenge. Can you believe it? That's 200 weeks worth of amazing and inspiring challenges. A huge thank you and round of applause to the fabulous girls at Mojo Monday for all that they do to keep us playing every week!

Isn't that a fabulous little sketch!!!
Challenge #2 is courtesy of The Pink Elephant. It's photo inspiration and Challenge #108.

Now, I don't know about you but this lovely photo made me both hungry for cupcakes and for crafting. So yummy!
Challenge #3- Is from Pollycraft Monday. They challenged us to create with a Summer Theme.
Challenge #4 hails from Pixie Dust Studio challenge #83 and the theme is Girly Girly. There you have it, 4 challenges all teaming up to create this masterpiece. Drum roll please......

Quite lovely, if I do say so myself! :) Let me introduce you to Pixie from the afore mentioned Pixie Dust Studio. She is a doll! I stumbled upon her the other day when I was perusing some lovely stamping blogs. It was LOVE! Such an adorable design! How could I not indulge and treat myself to one or *ahem* a few Pixies? It really was hard to narrow it down. I can't wait to share the other ones that I purchased later in the week. That about does it for now. I have crafting to do!

I Played Here too~

Mojolicious~

Being out of town all weekend really put a cramp in my stamping style. Whatcha gonna do? Somehow I managed to sit down today and create this little lovely card based on this weeks Mojo Monday sketch.

As soon as I saw this sketch I knew that I wanted to play. Unfortunately, I ended up changing it a bit to fit this lovely My Favorite Things Digi stamp.

I made the circles squares and put a flower where the small circle would have gone. It's a rather dark card but, all in all I like it. As you can see I have been in a real BRADS kind of mood lately. Goodness knows I have enough of them. LOL!
Alright, that about does it for me tonight. Happy Stamping.
