Beautiful, Wonderful You~

My darling Hailey turned 6 last week. It prompted me to have one of those amazing Mommy moments where I looked at my little girl and realized that she isn't so little anymore. Where the heck did the time go? I wanted to create a little something special for her. Something that she could look at everyday and remember how amazing Mommy thinks she is.

I knew I wanted to stick with a color pallet that had a lot of pop. Hailey has a fun, silly, colorful personality.

She is a tomboy and a princess all rolled into one. This piece got a little bit more tie dyed than I originally intended, but really I LOVE the way it turned out. Mostly I painted with tissue paper. It was a happy accident and I will definitely be doing it again. I added a triple layer of yellow tissue paper to the bottom of her dress for some fun added texture. Thanks for stopping by!
